Poll Reveals Americans are Optimistic About Post-Election Job Creation - tri-starr talent

According to a survey conducted by Harris Poll for the American Staffing Association Workforce Monitor, over half of United States adults believe the recent election results will have a positive effect on job creation. According to Richard Wahlquist, president and chief executive officer of the American Staffing Association, “The [survey] shows that jobs were an important consideration for voters in the November elections.” He asserts that Americans have great expectations for the new Congress and Trump administration in presenting job creation as a priority.

This survey was conducted online within the United States between December 16-20, 2016. Over 2,000 adults aged 18 and up participated, and 1,812 of them identified as voters. Results were weighted based on age, education, race, income, and geographic region in order to bring them in line with actual proportions of the United States population.

The survey was conducted by Harris Poll on behalf of the American Staffing Association and the original report can be viewed here.
