Staffing Assistant

Miranda’s professional background is mostly in retail management and inventory control – something she loved doing for a long time! Her degree is in English – which she’s never used but did enjoy getting!

She grew up in Michigan but has been in Texas for 20ish years. She’s lived all over the States (East, West, North and now South) San Antonio is her favorite though – she loves the history and culture here!

As a self described dork, she spends a lot of time reading, mostly about early American History. “This probably won’t help me achieve my dream of being on Drunk History but I’m learning a lot of super cool stuff.” She also loves to be on the water! During the summer she can be found floating nearly every weekend. She’s also a lifelong volunteer, most often at nursing homes because she “just has a way with old folks!”

She’s the staffing assistant which means she gets our candidates through the onboarding process. Her goal is to always be friendly, fast and accurate! She also answers the phone and brings that extra cheer (and color)  to everyone in the office as well as those who call! It’s always her goal to make people feel welcome and like they’ve found a great place to work and the best people to work with! She’s super excited about my future here and can’t wait to learn new things and find more ways to contribute to this team that she loves so much!

Biggest piece of advice to others:
Wake up every morning and put on a good attitude, you get to choose what kind of day you’ll have so you might as well choose awesomeness!
